Over the course of Friendship Week, Children in all classes participated in “New Friend Scavenger Hunts.”
Class Lessons were taught on the theme of “Friendship” and the characteristics of what makes a good friend. The children wrote out “Friendship Recipes”  Children made cards and wrote letters to their friends acknowledging their gratitude of friendship. All work was created, displayed and shared with the whole school community. Through the scavenger hunt activity, pupils were able to make new connections and recognise similar interests and things they have in common with different children in their classes to their usual friend groups. These new connections will build on existing friendships and help foster new friendships and a sense of belonging.
