The Dublin Airport Community Fund supports local projects that make a positive contribution to neighbouring communities. We at St. Margaret’s N.S. are proud beneficiaries of this fund. It has enabled us to purchase 30 Chromebooks, portable interactive whiteboards and it has provided funding towards the installation of Wi-Fi in the school.
The daily running of our school has proven to be more productive and efficient as a result of these improvements in ICT. It has meant that all the laptops and computers in our school have internet access which has allowed the pupils to carry out research and project work, develop their computer literacy and become proficient users of software such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. It has also enabled teachers to access a large variety of apps, e-books and resource materials to support the provision of education in our school.
