Active Yards

The Active School Committee ensures that everybody tries to be active in the yard. They encourage pupils to ‘Do your Talking while You are Walking’ thus encouraging movement during break times. The squad members also ensure inclusion for everyone during break time activities. The squad help to organise activities on the yards at lunchtime. Older members of the squad help the children in Infants with dancing and they are responsible for setting up the speaker for music on the yard. Other members are responsible for distributing skipping ropes, hoops, footballs and cones to different classes.
