On 10th December we held our first ever outdoor Christmas market on the grounds of the school. The event opened with the turning on of the Christmas tree lights, followed by the children carol singing. There were lots of fun activities including an extremely exciting “Snowball Toss Game”, guess the number of jellies in the jar, guess the staff member from baby photographs, not to mention stalls with handmade Christmas crafts, home baked goods, art, reindeer food etc. L & D catering from The Brock Inn were busy with a burger stand and the bumper raffle was bursting with wonderful prizes. The evening was an absolute success, and community spirit and Christmas spirit was evident throughout the fair. 
The Board of Management, staff and pupils of St. Margaret’s N.S. would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the families, the Parents’ Association and and local businesses who generously donated and contributed a huge amount to this event. We would like to wish you all a very merry and safe Christmas and a happy New Year.
