What a first month it has been! The boys and girls at St Margaret’s have been working hard and settling into their new classes. In Ms Gorman’s Junior and Senior infants the students of the month went to Katie Lawlor and Caoimhe Costello. Maith thú awards were giving for wonderful work and determination to James Kelly and Matilda Wernio- Eccles, and our Irish ‘gaeilgeoir na míosa’ went to Alex Mahony and Alanna Kelly.
In Ms Keegan’s first and second class the students of the month went to Davin Smith and Jake Crosby. The ‘Maith thú’ award winners were Lena Shannon and Mya Fitzgerald, and ‘gaeilgeoir na míosa’ went to Alfie Keay and Lawlor.
In Ms Lovely’s third and fourth class, the students of the month were Keillan Ritchie and Michael Stankevics. The ‘Maith thú’ award winners were Emily Jane Mc Kinley and Sophie Kavanagh and ‘gaeilgeoir na míosa’ went to Olivia Rose Gray and Emma Fitzgerald.
In Ms Dunne’s fifth and sixth class the students of the month were Robyn Kearney and Alex Woolsey, ‘maith thú award winners were Poppy Duggan and Séan Smith and ‘gaeilgeoir na míosa’ went to Zoe Madigan and Cian Mc Dermott.
Our maith thú awards from Emer, Noeleen, Cora, Mr Bannon and Ms Murphy were awarded to, Sean Kelly, Niamh Costello, Charlie Kennedy, Poppy Duggan, Harry Regan, Rhys Browne, Aaron McEvoy and Olivia Rose Gray.
