The pupils here in St. Margarets NS horoughly enjoyed exploring the different strands of the Maths curriculum daily during Maths Week. Each day pupils investigated, problem solved and worked collaboratively on different themed tasks.
Junior and Senior Infants played a number of math board games, participated in counting activities and had epic fun integrating Maths and PE together for some super quick relay races!
Pupils from 1st- 6th class were challenged with various Mathigon tasks using the school iPads/Chromebooks. There were crack the Emoji codes, measuring with metre strips, weighing scales and place value games too.
