We celebrated Maths Week this year from Monday 18th– Friday 22nd October. We enjoyed watching the daily episodes on Maths Week TV, participating in ‘Escape the room challenges’ and working with Maths stations which helped revise various concepts and topics from the Measures strand of the Primary Mathematics curriculum. The children explored the school environment, solving maths challenges and working together as a team with their individual pods. The Scavenger Hunts were a huge success and really allowed the children to exercise problem solving skills and revise number concepts taught in class! The posters provided by the Maths Week team provided valuable discussion moments in class and as did the Maths Talk resources provided on the PDST website.
