Ms. Gorman’s class participated in the Leave No Trace programme which was a fun and engaging way to learn all about Ireland’s natural environment. The class took part in two workshops. During these workshops, the students became familiar with the 7 principles of Leave No Trace. This was all about ways in which we can plan, preserve, and behave when exploring our beautiful outdoors. The children over the past few weeks have been working hard on a project based on their local area. 5th & 6th class designed a beautiful slide show to present their project. As a token of thanks to Martina, we presented her with a handmade information booklet based on St Margarets.
The children received a certificate of completion and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the learning experience.
