We had an action-packed week of festive fun which kicked off with a whole school trip to the Gaiety Pantomime to see “The Jungle Book.” This was a fantastic opportunity for the children and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Since then, the children have been busy spreading Christmas Cheer in as many ways as they can. They have made cards and written letters to send to people they haven’t seen in a while to let them know they are thinking of them. They have been carrying out random acts of kindness for each other in school and sharing joy with as many people as possible.
The children have also been dressing up in their festive clothes and head gear, participated in games, outdoor Christmas scavenger hunts, watched a Christmas movie, had a bumper Christmas Quiz and to finish off the week on a high…the school choir sang carols at the whole school assembly.
Well done to all involved and a special thank you to our student council and Amber Flag committee for leading the festivities.
Merry Christmas to all, from all the children and staff in St. Margaret’s NS!
