As Part of our Green School action plan we are making a big effort to create less waste and use less plastic. During our annual Trick or Treat for Temple Street fundraiser the St Margaret’s Green Team ran a competition encouraging the boys and girls to reuse old costumes and to create costumes from recycled materials.
As part of our Active Halloween Feel Good Fridays initiative the children had lots of fun participating in a Halloween scavenger hunt, skeleton relays, exercise circuits and playground games.
We celebrated Maths Week this year from 17th- 21st October. Ms. Keegan who is our school science coordinator, organised a jam packed week of activities for all classes in our school.
5th and 6th Class took a trip to ‘Dream Space’ in One Microsoft Place. In preparation for their visit, they pondered the questions: ‘How will the world be different in 2050?’ and ‘What would you like to be when you grow up?’.
