The pupils in St. Margarets NS had a blast celebrating all things SPACE as part of Space Week 2023.
Ms. Keegan organized a jam packed scheduled filled with different tasks to further ignite the rockets of curiosity and learning in all classes! In Ms. Gorman’s room the children made rockets, watched interesting videos on YouTube learning all about planets. They had a super fun week exploring Space in Aistear too! In Ms. Keegan’s 1st & 2nd Class they carried out a research project on Mars and even made mini martians using plasticine. Lots of fun was had during the Space Quizzes too! Ms. Lovely’s 3rd & 4th Class looked at life in our solar system and carried out a GROSS experiment using bread! They also painted fabulous planets too! In Ms. Dunne’s 5th & 6th Class the children made paper satellites and had investigated radio astronomy!
