As part of our Curious Minds Platinum Award application, children in all classes have been engaging with the Minecraft Education programme. Minecraft Education offers valuable learning opportunities to develop numeracy and digital literacy skills (amongst many others!). Mr. Gillic has been supporting both students and teachers alike, in navigating us all through the unlimited learning experiences the software has to offer! Using our new set of school IPads, classes take turns several times per week and play various games on Minecraft Education. Children are also encouraged to engage with it at home and share any creations they have made on Google Classroom streams. There are some very talented digital creators in our school!
