We celebrated Science Week from the 13th -20th November 2021 and explored the theme of ‘Creating our Future’ which is a continuation of last year’s theme. All classes really enjoyed tuning into the Curious Minds Shows throughout the science week and investigating various topics.
Classroom Investigations
The children in Infants investigated how materials can be used in construction and constructed their own towers using spaghetti and plasticine. First and Second class explore Strength, Flexibility and Elasticity by investigating properties and characteristics of certain materials. Third and Fourth class explored the topic of biodiversity and made clinometers and examined tree life. Finally, Fifth and Sixth class constructed future workspaces using recycled materials.
