5th and 6th Class took a trip to ‘Dream Space’ in One Microsoft Place. In preparation for their visit, they pondered the questions: ‘How will the world be different in 2050?’ and ‘What would you like to be when you grow up?’.
At Dream Space, the class learned about artificial intelligence (AI), coding and had to work together to solve lots of problems. They had a tour around One Microsoft Place, where they were told about all the facilities that are available to Microsoft employees, including a yoga studio.
The students were introduced to ‘Microbit’, which is basically a tiny computer. They were able to programme their Microbits to do lots of things, including track their steps and show their name.
